It's nice to know that I'm not the only one with this problem. I have 3 herniated cervical discs and my armpit and left arm hurt constantly. I tried traction but it didn't help. I have been doing alot of research on cervical endoscopic discectomy. I think that I am going to try it. It can't hurt anymore than it already does. It is an outpatient procedure where the doctor inserts a probe in your neck and removes the herniated portion. The rest of the disc is left intact and recovery is one week. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROCEDURE??? Let me know if you have. Thanks. Ramona from California.
