I'm another one suffering with the pain across both shoulders, severe pain at bottom of neck and a tingling, numbness kind of feeling. Does anyone else experience pain in the armpit. I did Physical therphy, now doing home traction, Vioxx and Percoset for pain. I've been on these meds since March. My Ortho Doc told me to wait it out a little with the traction and of course there is surgery. I sometimes talk myself into thinking I'm feeling better but when the meds wear off, it's back. It's very upsetting and I'm glad to be able to share with you people who know how it feels day in and day out. How long is the recovery from fusion? Do you stay in the hosipital? Do you have to wear a hard collar? Thanks everyone. Mare
