Boy, do I know what your are going through!! I was hurt at work over a year ago. I went to 5 different doctors before they found I had the same herniated disk in neck c5-6 and also had a rotater cuff tear and joint impingement. I had surgery on my shoulder in July and the neck felt better until I started using my arm more. Now I have more pain than ever. I did receive cervical epiderals before the shoulder surgery and it did seem to help. My doctor does not want to do neck surgery unless absolutely necessary. After shoulder surgery, I don't know if I can go through another one. But I do know the pain and where it is and can relate to what you are going through. I have heard of some people having the surgery on the neck and doing well. Hope this helps, it helped me to know that someone else knows what this is like. God Bless and good luck
