I have been diagnoised with a central disc herniation @ c-5 &c-6. I am experiencing severe left arm and shoulder pain-almost as if someone punched me real hard in arm. Cannot lift arm and pain keeps me up all night. Neuro-surgeon said that's impossible because it's CENTRAL(there is cord compression).He wants me to have 3 epidurals @ see a ortho. before exploring surgery. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain? Please let me know-I hurt and am getting very depressed from all of this. Thanks.
