Dear Marguerite, I have had poly. rheum for a year and a half, and found that stretches help somewhat. I found a good tape for this by Jane Fonda. Its stretching only, and do only what you can. After a few days, you will be able to do more. Also, walking for 20 minutes or so a day helps, although you may have to rest afterwards, as it's sometimes very fatiguing. I am down from 30 mil. of prednisone to 2.5 mil. once or twice a day, depending on pain. Also muscle relaxers do help. Take Care, Betty
