Kathy, what "gel" do you use? Also, does that mean you have to go to the doctor for flagyl or that gel every time you have vigorous intercourse? Chanel, are you and your husband able to have normal intercourse when you are asymptomatic? It's pretty unfair when my boyfriend helps to aggitate my vaginal problems then I feel responsible/embarrassed for the resulting problems! I'm amazed to read other women feeling just the way I do and dealing with this same frustrating problem. At least I don't feel as alone anymore. My old doctor even took a biopsy (cut a little piece of tissue off in that area) to see if I had some underlying cause such as a wart virus (I guess you can have that even without warts). The Dr. said that could cause such recurrent problems. But I did not. All they could diagnose was "chronic mild inflammation" which I would imagine is caused by all the problems I have.
