I too have fibromyalgia, but it has been quite manageable for several years now. Yes, sign up for warm water exercises as soon as possible. It is no longer an option for me but a way of life. If you don't have the availability of a warm water pool, check on having your bathtub transformed to a hot tub. When we were checking on having a hot tub installed or new tub put in the cost was near $4000.00, but we had our tub redone with the jets for under $1000.00, and I am in it every morning. It gets me going! Also do your stretches. Walking is very good. Start out by walking a short distance and gradually increase. I was walking three times a week and have gotten away from it, and it really makes a difference. I am on a muscle relaxant for sleep after trying several nerve pills and them not working. Dr. put me on cyclobenzaprine over a year ago, and I usually sleep quite well. There is hope if you help yourself. No one can do these things for you, except prescribing the medicine.
