Please don't lose hope. There is help available. I have fibromyalgia and degenerative spinal disease, and just underwent my 5th spinal surgery. I go to a Pain Management Specialist and he has helped me so much, but it took time finding the meds that worked best for me. Most regular Drs. don't want to give people pain meds because of the addiction factor, but there has to be a compromise that will allow a person to be functional.
