Welcome to the wonderful world of pain. i do not have fibro but have a number of ver painful chronic conditions. I have recurrent impingement&sublaxation syndrome in my shoulders that have both been surgically repaired and 3 herniations in my neck that make weakness and referred pain unbearable. I have been like this for 3&1/2 years and due to my pain being mismanaged in the beginning I now suffer from chronic pain and have to be medicated heavily for control. My physiatrist told me that I am going to take years of medication management ot get everything under control. I never give up home that some day it may come. Keep thinking positively. Best wishes.
