How long have you had bursitis? I have been doctoring for this (in both hips) for about 1 1/2 years. I just recently had surgery on my left hip, with little success as yet. I am now on crutches, the weight off my hips really helps the pain. Now I wonder if I will ever get off crutches!! Very discouraging!Hav you had any coritzone shots? They helped me for several times, but they seem to have quite working back in October. My Dr. is a bit puzzled! I will tell you that you'll get very discouraged if you read much of the email about this .. I have never seen anything positive! I know a girl that had the surgery I had -called z-plasty- and she had great results!! Ask your Dr. about this......good luck
