I believe most of the health problems we have today can be linked to nutritional deficiencies. Our food supply simply does not contain the nutrients necessary to keep our bodies healthy. Supplementing our diets with vitamins and minerals is a must. Vitamin C to bowel tolerance (take until you get diahrrea and then cut back the dose)has proven extremely effective in fighting infection. Vitamin A and aged liquid garlic extract are also very beneficial in fighting infection. The recommendation for vitamin A is 25,000 I.U.daily (10,000 I.U. for pregnant women). I too have suffered from recurring BV for a year now and will be treating it more aggressively with nutritional resuorces as traditional medicine has not cured me. There is a wonderful book by Maureen Kennedy Salaman called ALL YOUR HEALTH QUESTIONS ANSWERED NATURALLY that is a wonderful resource for health problems. I also encourage you to do some of your own research into nutritional supplementation. I hope this helps.
