Have your mother try some kind of knee bend type exercise that gets her leg muscles to the point of 'burning' with lactic acid. This has helped me.I do this 20-30 minutes before bed. Also, I am taking a drug called Evista (raloxifene) for the prevention of osteoporosis ( I think only post-menopausal women can take this) and it has lessened the nervous feeling in my legs.Mandy Tillotson
