Something that helps relieve RLS (for me) is to do some kind of knee bends to the point where your legs 'burn' with lactic acid.I stand on one leg as long as I can , then switch legs. I do this 20-30 minutes before bed. I also got some relief when I started on Evista (raloxifene) last year. It is a drug for the prevention of osteoporosis and I think you have to be post-menopausal to take it.It says there is a side-effect of leg cramps, but I haven't had any cramps, and whatever causes that side effect seems to help RLS!
