COREY
Why such major surgery?? espectially exploratory first!!??? Try for the fibroid embolization, it shrinks huge fibroids. The recovery time is very short compared to 6 weeks of being incompacitated (after a hysterectomy)!!! And it still allows pregnancy compared to being sterilized and barren (after a hysterectomy)! You may have to pay out of pocket as most insurance companies consider it too new. But the cost of adoption and loss of raising children that come from you in the long run far out-weighs the cost! Contact your nearest radiology department (major hospital with a women's unit or wing) for specifics. get on the web and go out of the country if you need to get it done cheaper. Good Luck! Lyn
