I know exactly where you are coming from! I am a 31 year old. I had surgery almost 2 years ago. I have never had any children and never really thought I wanted any until that choice was being taken away. There are so many options. You need a real good physician that gives you all of the information and lets you make the choice. I chose to have the fibroids removed, mainly because of the other problems they were causing. You have to know that the removal of your uterus is not the only way to deal with fibroids. There are many other options. And note that if your fibroids are not causing any other health problems it it is ok to leave it alone.
