You do have another option that many doctors don't know about or will not tell you about or even consider. It is a surgical procedure called a "Myomectomy" in which only the fibroid tumor or tumors are removed and the uterus is left intact. I had this procedure myself because I insisted on knowing what ALL of my options were/ALL of the procedures that were available since I want children as well. I'm fortunate to have found a wonderful doctor (after going to a couple of others not willing to consider or explore options with me). There are few doctors who know and are experienced and skilled with this surgery so if it's something you want to see about, don't give up easily and stick to your guns on finding someone who knows this and is also experienced enough to tell you whether or not it would be possible in your case.
