My Mom had L5-S1 surgery for crushed disc, it also trapped the nerve sending painful electric shocks down left leg & into foot. She was on all kinds of pain meds, thought she was a junkie, but nothing worked. Finally, Neurontin & Ellaville took away electrical pain, better than anything else.
