Sorry but I have been to neurologists, opthamologists and otolornyolgists and none of them could help me. I had spinning (vertigo), nausea AND pounding in my ear. Thankfully my husband said I had better try our very favorite Chiropractor, who also specializes in "Kinesiology" which means a person who works with your muscles to keep your body healthy. He is my miracle healer. No more vertigo, nausea, and only a very slight almost un-noticeable pounding (only if I pay attention to it). He found a bone in my neck was severely out of alignment. This was after all the MRI's, ear testing and eye checkups which if I may add were very, very expensive. My chiropractor charges $40. for what the rest only can guess at. I must, however, insist that not every chiropractor can help. It must be one who practices the art of "Kinesiology". I might add it is painless. Good Luck as I know the pounding can drive a person crazy.
