I also have been suffering with a constant pounding or "wave like" sound in my left ear. After going to an ear, eye and neurologist all tests are negative and they don't know what's wrong. I also suffer with dizziness and nauseousness and never know when it will happen. Why can't your doctor recommend something. I am continuing my search for relief because you cannot live your life normally with this problem. Any help you can offer me will be also appreciated. PS - My neurologist will not prescribe any medication because he does not know what he is treating.
