I sure can relate to exactly how you feel. I, too, am very active and get extremely frustrated at the pain, aches, fatigue and mostly the fibrofog. Aerobic exercise seems to help but it's a very fine line between enough and too much. Massages are very temporary relief and I usually pay the price a day later as it worsens my symptoms. I've tried a trigger-point type therapy and that lasts longer and is more effective but still quite temporary. Very recently, I tried my first acupuncture treatment. It made me feel worse that afternoon but by the evening I felt great!! Better than I have in months. The pain and hardness of the muscles in my back and neck was virtually gone. The fog I had for the last 2 days also cleared. I'm not sure if that was coincidental or not. I've heard great things about Yoga and plan to try it soon.
