All the symptoms you described are characteristic of lymes decease. I have lymes decease. I had it for about 4 years before it was diagnosed. All blood tests came back negative but I still had all the symptoms except the bullseye rash. I had pain in limbs followed by tingling and numbness. I had swollen feet and ankles. Standing in one position was very painful. I could only walk about 2 blocks and my legs would swell. Loss of balance often. Swelling in face. Sometimes numbness esp. on left side. Things would fall out of my hands. Sore throat constantly. All strep throat tests were negative. All arthritis tests were negative. Eventually the nerve damage got so bad I started to stutter--that was the last draw. I went to doctor after doctor until I found one that knew about lymes decease. I had a lymes blood test. This test can come back negative even when positive so do not rely soley on the blood test. Lupus, cfs, ebv, and ms also have similar symptoms. After being treated with IV antibiotics, the nerve damage got better. The stuttering stopped. The numbness was not as bad or constant. Still do not feel 100% like I used to but I do feel better.
