i also had this pain for three years...i finally had to resort to surgery where they discovered that the nerve in my lower back going down my leg had been damaged and was being squeezed shut by other things in my leg...they did surgery to relieve the nerve and within 6 months it started to regenerate itself and come back to life...so to speak...now it gives me very little pain...check with your doctor
