My 7 yr old son has just been diagnosed. I searched and sought out professional advise. Everyone agrees, best to leave it alone in young children. Their autoimuune system will kick in and rectify the lesions w/i 2 yrs. For a school age boy that seems an eternity! He is miserable. I hope your child fairs better quickly(6-8 months).
