My two boys were diagnosed with this virus nine months ago. My Dermatologist felt it necessary to remove them whenever possible. I don't like the idea of putting my children through the procedure, which, at times can be painful, but I also do not like the idea of letting the virus run its course because it could take years! It was interesting to read the other messages. My children did not have the chicken pox, nor the vaccine. I too am concerned about how one contracts the virus. Although contagious, I feel people are being misinformed that only children get it. What precautions, if any, does one take? My doctor basically said there is none. Has anybody heard differently? I would like to hear from anyone with info. Thanks.
