I have sleep apnea that is apparently caused by an elongated epiglotis. I wear a mandibular assisted device at night to correct the sleep apnea. As a side effect of the device and the elongated epiglotis, I swallow air during my sleep. In the morning, my stomach is almost always bloated. Has anyone with the same problem been able to come up with a solution?
