I have had a very agressive form of Sjorgrens for over a year. I was very luck in that I went to a Rhuemologosit who had significant experience with Sjorgrens. I have ten doctors that I see regularly to try to keep going on somewhat normally. Hope this list might be helpful to you. I take Salagen for saliva A floride rinse if essential (liek ACT) because of the deterioation of your teeth enamal. I also take high level of prednisone and cytoxan. This is due to vasculuties cause by the disease that has created problems in my luncgs. I also take something called Aggrenox because Sjorgrens has now given me three mini-srokes. YOu need also to wath your blood presesure as Sjorrens can cause it to rise. I also take Neurotin for the pain I take Plaquenl for the fatigues. There are also drugs that I take but these are the main ones that are trying to control th eSjorgrens. This is not just a disease of the salivary and eye glands. I tcan atack any gland in your both and you must be under constant docutors care. Please find specialist in every field. I suggest: Rheumotology, Pulmonary, Gastro, Opthmalogy, Dentis, and Phsycology. Sjorgrens, as any chronic diease promotes depression. The trouble with Sjorgrens is that you sometimes don't look sick and it is hard for people to understand a disease they do not understand. Please email me if you have any questions or want to talk. Over the last year I have done a lot oresearch and talking with doctor on this disease. Take care.
