My 3 yr. old son has had molluscum for over a year, mostly on his face, which he got from my 5 yr. old daughter. (She only had 6-8 of them on her chest and back. Hers were gone around her 5th birthday after 1-2 years No clue where she got it!) My son passed it to me when he nursed. My o.b. consulted with a dermatologist, who recommended Benzoyl Peroxide 10% (which is the active ingredient in Clearasil). Mine is almost gone after 3 months of treatment and having weaned my son for 7 months. His seems to be clearing up, and at least slowing down.
