I have had IBS for more than 10years. I've had a Hysterectomy among countless other procedures, and last April I had all but 8" of my colon removed. I have gone from needing enema bags, to constant diarrhea, terrible abdominal pain, and worst of all, agonizing rectal spasms. I am only 42, with two young children, but I've about had it. I have tried 5 anti-spasmodics, countless meds, and herbs on my own. I'm recently divorced, and going back to college, and I'm barely hanging in there. Any help out there? I am under the "care" of a Gastro Dr., but he's pretty much given up. My life now consists of pain meds. Thanks, Karen
