I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea also....but the ent suggested a CPAP machine...did yours mention that? A friend of mine said that she uses one and it has taken care of all of her health problems. She has more energy than she ever has. I suffer from low oxygen levels due to the lack of oxygen that I breath at night from the apneas also swollen ankles and high bloodpressure and very bad headaches. I sleep in a recliner because when I lay flat in bed, I feel like I will just close up and stop breathing all together!! I am currently trying to get my insurance to okay a CPAP machine for me. The machine blows continuously through the night...you wear a mask and you sleep like a baby!!! I wore one in the sleep clinic one night and it was HEAVEN!!! Hopefully this might be a better thing to try and less evasive than surgery!!! Good luck!!!
