I am a 25 year old member of the US Army. I have been in and out of military inpatient psychiatric wards for the past seven months. I've also recieved extensive outpatient treatment during that time. I have been only recently diagnosed with BPD. I need to know I am not alone. How can my borderline diagnosis be accompanied by diagnosis of PTSD, chronic major depressive episode disorder, anxiety disorder, and eating disorder? Why have I been subjected to drug cocktails including ambien, periactin, benadryl, klonopin, celecxia, adavan, zoloft, prozac, etc.? Who can help me? I am being forced out of my job in the Army. Who knows of good civilian facilities where I can recieve treatment? I am tired of living in what feels like an eternal hell! TRIGGER-------who else suffers from sever self-mutilation? If you suffer as I do, please reply. My life is one big black out after another.
