It is my understanding that egg yolks in any form, cooked or raw, contain the protein that the bacteria in the gut use to produce trimethylamine. For those who lack the enzyme to convert trimethylamine into its odorless form, it can cause them to have a body odor. Other foods that can contribute to this malodor include products containing soybeans, lecithin, the amino acid Glycine, and the B vitimin Choline. Corn, peanuts, legumes, fish and some grains are also reported to result in malodor. Please share any information you find concerning this condition. Thanks.
