my mother was diagnosed in 8/00 with the same. she was a candidate for whipple, but it had spread to her liver when they went in to do the procedure. she doesn't want to take chemo at this point. life expectancy is 8-12 months. please let me know about the alternative drugs you are trying with your mom and the surgery possibility in PA.
